Several times a year I offer a comprehensive workshop for beginning to intermediate photographers who desire to learn my styling, shooting and editing methods for kid and senior girl photography.  In the past two years I have successfully taught 6 workshops.  In these 2 day workshops for photographers I reveal all of my secrets (including my post processing!) and conduct Q & A sessions where no question is off limits. You’ll have the opportunity to hear my philosophy on building a successful business, shoot models with me on location as well as see my step by step process in Photoshop.

In today’s workshop market there is a great deal of bad press circulating about disappointing workshops.  Understandably so!  If you would like to read a thorough review of my workshop from a reputable source, fellow photographer and co-owner of I Heart Faces Angie Arthur, please click here.

If you would like to join the mailing list to hear about all future workshops, please email me using my contact form and request to be added to the list. Thank you!

Day 1: Information Overload (9am-5pm)

Since the focus of the workshop is on creating beautiful images, we’ll start at square one and talk about being your own creative director.  Day 1 includes a hands on shoot with several child and senior models.  You’ll see me pose and interact with the subjects in real time and have the chance to build your portfolio and apply my techniques as well.  After the shoot we head off to group workshop dinner.

– Finding your Niche / Developing your style
– Creative Session Planning

Day 2:  Work flow, Photoshop, and Business Q & A  (9am-5pm)

The majority of Day 2 is comprised of Photoshop techniques.  I not be teaching a comprehensive overview of Photoshop, rather I will focus on the work flow I have created to give my images a consistent brightness and pop, every single time.
