Attention, Ladies!

I’m both nervous and excited to announce that I’ll be presenting as one of the speakers at  HER PHOTOGRAPHY CONFERENCE , a new event taking place in my beautiful city of Grand Rapids, Michigan!   I was totally thrilled when I first heard that Grand Rapids would be putting on such a dynamic event, and I’m hoping to see some old faces and meet some new ones as well.  It’s really going to be an amazing opportunity for women photographers to connect, be refreshed and learn from the talented line-up of speakers.   

Registration opens tomorrow April 6 at 12pm EST with only 300 tickets available. I’m sure it will sell out quickly, so don’t miss out.  For more information about the conference, feel free to check out the website for details.

Window Light

Isn’t this girl such a little beauty?  I have a few more from this session to blog, but I’m off to Florida for a couple weeks and wanted to share what I had before I left.  It almost seems impossible that I’m going to feel the sun on my face.  Michigan dealt us a long, hard winter and I am so ready to hit the beach.  Hopefully I’ll come back refreshed, inspired and full of creative energy.  Happy almost Spring, everyone!

2011 Workshop Dates

It’s hard to believe that Grand Rapids is covered in snow and Christmas is just around the corner!  I have had an amazing year.  I am so incredibly thankful and grateful for every blessing that has been poured out.  I can’t wait to see what next year holds!  I’m already thinking about my New Year’s resolutions.  I’ve decided that none of them are going to be things I need to improve.  They are all going to be new ventures or projects. I think there is more liberty in that!  One of them is going to be to finally learn the guitar.  I have a beautiful guitar just ready and waiting for me to make it sing.
